About the job
The Hallenstadion Gastronomy is responsible for all catering at all events in the Hallenstadion, the largest and most modern event arena in Switzerland.
In addition to the actual arena with a capacity of 15,000 people, the Hallenstadion has additional banquet and conference rooms for up to 3,500 guests. The gastronomy also includes the Frontline restaurant with 500 seats, the Topline restaurant with 60 seats, the themed restaurants Sound and Vision with 100 seats each, the Backstage restaurant with 170 seats, 15 VIP boxes for 12 people each, the StarLounge for up to 60 people, as well as over 23 take-aways and bars.
The team of permanent employees consists of 25 people. During events, up to 300 part-time employees are additionally deployed.
Our dedicated part-time employees with experience in the hospitality industry are our greatest asset. Therefore, we complement our team by agreement with:

Area of responsibility:
You are responsible for the careful preparation and presentation of dishes at various events. Depending on the event, you will be deployed both in the production kitchen as well as in the banquet and à la carte kitchen and in all positions.
Requirements:
• Completed cook apprenticeship
• Good German skills (spoken)
• Age from approx. 20 to approx. 45 years
Your role with us as a cook:
We complement our kitchen brigade of 7 permanent cooks depending on the event. Your skills as a cook are especially in demand at large events such as Art on Ice, general meetings, or large banquets of up to 1,000 people. Further deployment opportunities exist partly for mise en place work or at standard events such as concerts and shows.
