Community Health and Care Assistants (ASSC) for CHUV
To strengthen the care teams in our somatic services, we are looking for community health and care assistants between 50% and 100%, starting date to be agreed.

More than 700 ASSCs work within our institution, operating in a wide variety of contexts.
Our acute care environment and our 43 medical specialties will give you the opportunity to provide delegated care under the supervision of qualified staff (nurses, doctors, midwives).
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
We are currently looking to complete our teams in the following Services:
- Surgery Department: thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, visceral surgery, urology, septic surgery, ENT and cervico-facial surgery
- Heart-Vessels Department: cardiology, cardiac surgery
- Medicine Department: internal medicine, geriatrics and geriatric rehabilitation
- Interdisciplinary Centers Department: intensive care, emergency
- Locomotor System Department: orthopedics and traumatology
Clinical Neurosciences Department: neurology, neurosurgery
- Psychiatry Department: adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, old age psychiatry
- Women-Mother-Child Department: pediatrics
Mission
- You ensure the execution and monitoring of care delegated by nursing staff and work in tandem with them
- You responsibly and autonomously support patients in aspects of daily living activities
- You perform medico-technical acts on delegation, in stable care situations
- You carry out administrative and logistical tasks related to your activity, mainly linked to patient care.
Profile
- You hold a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a community health and care assistant or are about to obtain it
- You are a dynamic, committed, motivated person with a sense of responsibility
- Ideally, you can justify at least 6 months of experience in acute care
- Knowledge of institutional software (Soarian electronic patient record) is an asset
- You have an excellent command of the French language, both spoken and written (level B2)
