The Lenzburg Vocational School is a modern vocational school with around 2300 students in basic education, affiliated workshop courses, and a large department for adult education. To complement our team, we are looking for 1 teacher for specialized instruction in mechanical engineering as of August 1, 2026 (approx. 20% or 6 weekly lessons). You will teach and support learners on their path from the start of training to the qualification procedure. We expect - a basic EFZ education in the field of mechanical engineering (polymechanic or designer) - a higher qualification (advanced technical training or university of applied sciences) - several years of practical experience with a preference for CNC manufacturing - a certificate "Didactic Basic Module A" or the interest to acquire one - willingness to continue training to become a main teacher - good oral and written knowledge of the German language - confident use of digital media and industry-standard teaching materials - communication skills, assertiveness, initiative, enjoyment in working with young people, and willingness to work in a team - teaching days can be Thursday or Friday We offer - a versatile and challenging area of responsibility in a professional environment with a collegial and committed team - support with subject mentoring and practical guidance - plenty of room to realize your own ideas - high independence and personal responsibility - medium-term possibility to take over a full-time position For further information, Mr. Heinz Lüthy, Head of Department Vocational Knowledge, h.luethy@bslenzburg.ch, is happy to provide additional information.
