What you can achieve
- Responsible for all operational procurement matters, as well as assigned strategic tasks at the locations Bern, Aigle & Zurich in the military and civilian sectors
- Monitoring all administrative accompanying and follow-up tasks related to procurement, e.g. deadlines, dunning, invoices, complaints
- Support in supplier evaluation and contract creation
- Material disposition for assigned articles and disposition areas
- Timely and accurate data maintenance in SAP (order confirmations, price, deadlines, invoice workflow)
What you bring with you
- Technical or commercial basic training, ideally combined with further education in purchasing (purchasing specialist, certified purchaser)
- Several years of professional experience in procurement and extensive procurement market knowledge in a technical environment
- Knowledge/experience in international procurement and contract management is an advantage
- Innovative, customer- and team-oriented personality with a high sense of responsibility, resilience, and assertiveness
- Very good MS Office and SAP skills (S4Hana)
- Very good German and English skills, French is an advantage
