Currently, in addition to a broad dealer network, we operate over 17 own bicycle stores in 67 countries in Europe, for which we always strive for perfection. Our attitude towards great customer hospitality puts us in a unique position to set the highest standard for bicycle retail.
For the rapidly growing retail activity, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for an experienced:
Accountant Retail 100% (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- Responsible for carrying out all accounting tasks for up to 9 own retail stores in DE/AT/CH
- Invoice verification, reconciliation of goods receipts, accounts payable
- Month-end closing entries
- Posting of fixed assets
- Reconciliation of bank and accounts payable balances
- Monthly balance reconciliations
- Support of annual budgeting and monthly forecasts
- Close cooperation with district managers as sparring partners on financial issues and performance optimizations
- Understanding and monitoring of business KPIs, supporting store teams in implementing improvement measures
- Coordination of monthly P&L reviews with all store managers
- Ad-hoc analysis as needed
- Quarterly store visits
- General correspondence
Your profile:
Professional:
- Completed business administration studies or comparable professional training
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting or finance with a focus on retail
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle and JD Edwards is an advantage
- Secure understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and value-added tax regulations
- Very good user knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
- Strong service orientation
- Flexibility to handle a wide range of tasks
- Willingness to work in a dynamic environment
Languages:
- Very good German skills
- Very good English skills, spoken and written, required

- Resilience, communication skills, and organizational talent
- Passion for bicycles is welcome but not a must
