Legal Librarian (60-80%)
Geneva
To strengthen the team of the Geneva office library, we are looking for a Legal Librarian at 60-80%.
Your tasks:
- Ensure the management, enhancement, and accessibility of physical and electronic collections
- Guarantee the reception, information, and registration of users
- Support and train users in their research and documentary practices
- Conduct legal and documentary monitoring
- Manage the library's finances
- Lead or participate in projects to develop library services
Your profile:
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a Documentary Information Agent (AID) or a Bachelor of Science HES-SO in Information Science (Documentary Information) and have at least one year of experience in libraries
- You are comfortable using an Integrated Library System (ILS), databases, and office tools
- You have interpersonal skills (communication, dialogue, listening) and a sense of public service
- You adapt easily and manage stress well
- You are precise, dynamic, motivated, and demonstrate rigor and autonomy in your work
- You have perfect command of French and good knowledge of English. German is an asset
- You have a strong interest in the field of law; experience in legal documentary information would be a plus
Job specifics:
- You will share the position with the current librarians (job sharing)
- You are available at the beginning of the week
