To complement our ICT team in Allschwil, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a customer-oriented, reliable, and quality-conscious person as a Medical Informatics Specialist 80 - 100%.
- You analyze, optimize, and automate digital processes around laboratory data, systems, and device connections.
- You ensure the stable operation and further development of the interfaces between LIS, middleware, peripheral systems, automation solutions, and analytical devices.
- You support and develop system integrations (e.g., HL7, ASTM, or other data interfaces) and assist in the technical advancement of the LIS.
- You are responsible for the quality and consistency of master data in the LIS, taking into account system dependencies and data flows.
- You work closely with laboratory specialist departments, IT teams, as well as external partners and device manufacturers, and coordinate technical projects in the field of laboratory IT.
- Education or studies in computer science, medical informatics, or comparable fields
- Experience with complex system landscapes as well as understanding of data flows, process logic, and system integration.
- Ideally experience in the laboratory environment, especially in pathology, or in healthcare
- Analytical thinking skills and enjoyment in analyzing and solving technical problems between systems
- Experience in interdisciplinary or technical projects as well as very good German and English skills (French is an advantage)
