Member of the Child and Adult Protection Authority (APEA)

- The APEA is an interdisciplinary judicial authority, which constitutes a section of the District Court, chaired by a judge. It decides in the composition of its president and two members. These must have skills either in medical, psychological, social, or educational matters, or in accounting or actuarial matters, or in asset management and social insurance.

The activity will be deployed, depending on the profile offered:
- for the Boudry site: a position with social and accounting skills;
- for the La Chaux-de-Fonds site: a social worker position and an accountant position;
- for the three sites of Neuchâtel, Boudry, and La Chaux-de-Fonds together: an accountant position and a psychiatry specialist position.
Persons of Swiss nationality or who benefit from a residence permit, under 70 years old and having civil rights, and in principle domiciled in the canton for at least one year or, for persons benefiting from a residence permit, for at least five years, may be appointed members of the APEA.
The remuneration is defined by the decree of the Council of State setting the compensation of the members of the APEA.
