The State Police of the Principality of Liechtenstein (www.landespolizei.li) is tasked with ensuring public safety and order, conducting investigations in criminal cases, and promoting traffic safety. Furthermore, we are responsible for international police cooperation.

There are four positions available at the State Police as
Police Trainees (m/f/d)
Due to the composition of the corps, at least one position is reserved for a female applicant.
You will receive comprehensive police training at the Police School of Eastern Switzerland in Amriswil/CH (theory) and at the State Police (practical). The training begins in early October 2026 and lasts 24 months.
Afterwards, you will gain practical professional experience in all areas of security and traffic police and will then be assigned to a specialized field.
Qualifications
You are especially characterized by the following for this position:
- Passed aptitude test (valid certificate of theory and physical tests)
- Completed vocational training or high school diploma plus professional experience
- Impeccable reputation
- Mental maturity and resilience
- Communication skills and social competence
- Physical fitness
- Willingness to work irregular hours (shift work, night and weekend duty)
- Age usually between 20 and 35 years
- Driver's license category B
- Liechtenstein citizenship
