• You are the driving force in motion sales – you ensure that the motion business grows and develops further.
• You take responsibility for large sales projects – from the first customer contact to closing.
• You develop and implement business development in the field of motion control – with a focus on sustainable growth.
• Together with the countries, you create country-specific sales strategies and implement them with the local teams.
• You define target industries and markets and develop a clear strategy to successfully establish a foothold there.
• In close cooperation with the sales units, you identify, win, and strategically develop key accounts.
• You build a strong team of business development managers and continuously develop it.
• You ensure that contribution margins are achieved – and measure performance with clear KPIs.
• You live the hands-on approach: You are not only a manager but the number 1 salesperson in the business unit. You go to customers yourself, conduct talks, and make the difference.

• You are an experienced sales personality with high drive, closing strength, and clear customer orientation.
• You have a completed degree in engineering or business administration (Bachelor or Master).
• You have several years of experience in B2B sales – ideally in industrial automation or drive technology.
• Technical know-how in motion control (e.g., rotary encoders, servo drives) is a clear advantage.
• You bring leadership experience – both disciplinary and in leading virtual, international teams.
• You master project management and can implement complex projects in a structured and efficient manner.
• You communicate confidently in German and English – with negotiation skills and presence at all levels.
• You work strategically, process-oriented, and goal-oriented – with foresight and a hands-on mentality.
• You like to travel – nationally and internationally – and are confident in direct customer contact.
