About the job

We are looking for a
Professional Guardian 80%
immediately or by agreement with the workplace in Glarus.
Tasks
- Management of guardianships in child and adult protection
- Advice, care, and support of children, adolescents, and adults according to the guidelines of the child and adult protection authority
- Income and asset management as well as representation of interests according to the formulated mandate of the child and adult protection authority
- Interdisciplinary cooperation with other agencies and authorities
- Completion of administrative tasks with support from our clerical staff
Requirements
- University of applied sciences degree in social work or comparable tertiary education
- Experience in mandate management
- Completed further training in child and adult protection law or willingness to specifically further educate in this area
- Good communication and administrative skills
- High social competence, empathy, and ability to work in a team
- Independence, resilience, and assertiveness
