Tasks
At the Bärau schoolhouse (Bäraustrasse 61, 3552 Bärau) we are looking for a classroom assistant for the basic level from December 1st (until initially the end of January 2026). Working hours:
Tuesday: 08:20 to 09:50
Thursday: 10:20 to 11:50
You accompany the class during the working hours (without preparation/follow-up).
Requirements
Basics:
· No pedagogical expertise is required.
Characteristics:
· Enjoy working with children
· Understanding of children
· Patient, humorous, reliable, trustworthy
· Awareness of proximity — distance issues
· Age-appropriate communication
Collaboration:
· Accept the teacher's teaching style
· Work under the teacher's guidance
· Act as a role model
· Be open to the teacher's concerns
Agreements:
· Binding appointments are made between the teacher and classroom assistants. Absences (e.g. holidays, doctor visits) are coordinated with the teacher.
· Discretion and confidentiality: Confidential information from the class does not leave the premises.
We Offer
Hourly wage as classroom assistant:
CHF 30.— per 60 minutes
