The Finance Department manages the finances of the Canton of Zurich and enables an overall view. It prepares the budget with financial plan and the accounts of the canton on behalf of the government council. It prepares financial decisions of the government council, ensures an efficient accounting system, and provides corresponding services for the entire administration.
Your project. Your signature. You take over the technical overall management for a central project in the Finance Department of the Canton of Zurich: the introduction of a uniform SAP Business Partner across all SAP modules, through which all receivables and credits will eventually be recorded. Together with the sub-project managers, you are responsible for achieving the goals and lead the sub-project "SAP Business Partner" - from analysis to implementation.
Your tasks:
- Take over the technical project management for a central project
- Structure and organize the project together with the client
- Coordinate the exchange with technical project management, users, as well as internal and external IT teams
- Redesign processes: ensure operation and further development of the SAP applications used, define and optimize canton-wide business processes
- Provide technical support, test management, process consulting, and training for implementation projects and users
Your profile:
- Higher education (Master or equivalent) in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or business process management, as well as several years of experience in managing complex projects
- Solid SAP know-how, especially regarding S/4HANA and the Business Partner module – including architecture, process design, and data management
- Knowledge of the HERMES project method and experience in business analysis are a plus
- You work analytically, independently, and result-oriented. Your conceptual strength, reliability, and communication skills help you develop solutions together with different stakeholders
- You keep an overview even under pressure and are open to new challenges
