At Endress+Hauser, progress happens by working together. As the global leader in measurement instrumentation, with over 17,000 employees, we shape the future in the field of process automation. Whether developing and realizing new technology as a team, collaborating to build instrumentation, or strengthening vital relationships with our global industries, we work to create trusted relationships that help everyone thrive. As a family-owned company, we look beyond short-term moves and work to create a vision that is forward-thinking for our people, our clients, and the world at large.
We are looking for an Assistant to the CSO to join us and provide high-level administrative and strategic support to the Chief Sales Officer (CSO) at Endress+Hauser Group Services AG. In this role, you will be part of our Group’s global headquarters in Reinach, Switzerland, supporting the CSO in driving global sales initiatives and ensuring seamless coordination across the executive team. This is not a traditional assistant role — while it involves high-level executive support, it also requires strong analytical skills to manage data, create reports, and support decision-making through structured insights.
What is the role about?
Are you organized, proactive, and comfortable managing a wide range of executive-level responsibilities? Do you thrive on creating structure in an international environment? Are you skilled at anticipating needs and finding solutions before others notice the challenge?
If so, this role is your opportunity to play a vital part in supporting our global sales leadership. You’ll work directly with the CSO, coordinating across international teams, Executive Board members, and key partners — ensuring the smooth execution of operational and administrative activities within a dynamic and collaborative corporate environment.
Which tasks will you perform?
You will:
- Assist the CSO in all aspects of his administrative, commercial, and relational tasks, both internally and externally.
- Support the CSO in reporting activities by collecting data from various sources, creating source documents, and preparing monthly reports based on business process system analysis.
- Analyze and interpret sales and performance data to provide actionable insights that support the CSO’s strategic decisions.
- Proactively manage the CSO’s agenda in the short and medium term, coordinating meetings, trips, and events in alignment with other Executive Board members.
- Organize meetings related to the CSO’s various activities, ensuring seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage correspondence by prioritizing and responding to emails, ensuring timely communication and efficient information flow.
- Coordinate all travel arrangements, including bookings, documentation, and schedules, ensuring all details are prepared well in advance.
- Master and utilize the organization’s various software tools, including Salesforce, to support data-driven decisions and maintain process efficiency.
- Prepare draft speeches and communications for the CSO for various events and engagements.
- Collaborate closely with other assistants and corporate teams to ensure smooth communication and event organization.
- Maintain and regularly update the list of high-level customer contacts for corporate communication purposes.
What do we expect from you?
You:
- Hold a degree or equivalent education as an Executive Assistant.
- Are fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bring proven experience supporting senior executives, ideally within sales and/or marketing functions in an international environment.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a high level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Are proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Familiarity with Salesforce and Business Warehouse systems is an asset, along with the ability to quickly learn new professional software tools.
- Show strong self-management, initiative, and the ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
- Are curious, adaptable, and motivated to continuously improve processes and expand your knowledge.
What can you expect from us?
- We are a family-owned, highly committed company with a sustainable vision.
- We promote lifelong learning with versatile training and further education opportunities, internal knowledge transfer, and e-learning.
- We prioritize Employee Well-Being by offering a comprehensive company pension scheme and access to health offers that support our employees’ overall wellness.
