Your Tasks
- IT-based recording of infection-relevant pathogens and creation of microbiological statistics
- Infection prevention according to the Hospital Infection Surveillance System (KISS)
- Support of the existing team of hygiene specialists (m/f/d) in the AMEOS East region in enforcing hygiene-related measures
- Close cooperation with the medical director of the Infectiology and Hygiene Management department
- Advising clinical staff from a hospital hygiene perspective
- Conducting staff training, inspections, and hygiene audits in all departments
- Independent development of hygiene-related information strategies (e.g., creation of informational materials)
- Selection of hygiene-relevant procedures and products
- Preparation and follow-up of inspections by the health department and other regulatory authorities
- Planning and documentation of construction measures in the clinics
- Collaboration in clinical studies
- Participation in clinical-infectiological rounds
Your Profile
- Completed training as a health and nursing professional (m/f/d)
- Ideally completed further training as a hygiene specialist (m/f/d) with state recognition
- Current, very good expertise in the field of hygiene and infection prevention
- Experience in handling modern information technology
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and the German language
- Ability to act independently and work in a structured manner
- High social and communication skills, gender and intercultural competence
- Organizational talent and assertiveness as well as the ability for interdisciplinary cooperation
- Willingness to travel within Saxony-Anhalt
