Schlieren is a dynamic, growing city in the Limmat Valley with around 20,000 inhabitants. As a reliable employer, the city of Schlieren offers a professional environment to deliver excellent performance.
With a differentiated range of care and support services at three different locations, the city enables around 80 elderly residents with varying care and support needs to live in a homely environment with professional services. Around 120 employees and trainees ensure the well-being of the elderly at the Sandbühl retirement center as well as in two different nursing apartments and in assisted living at Bachstrasse and Mühleacker.
We are looking for a self-employed person from October 1, 2025, temporarily until the end of June 2026
SRK Nursing Assistant 70% (Maternity Cover)
Your main tasks
- Care and support of assigned residents in collaboration with a nursing professional
- Independent execution of basic care with a palliative approach
- Careful documentation of all services
- Active participation in reports and team meetings
- Assistance with household tasks (e.g., cooking)
- Designing everyday life for residents
Your profile
- Completed SRK nursing course with proven professional experience in long-term care
- Proven professional experience in geriatrics and dementia
- Knowledge of EasyDok is an advantage
- Empathetic interaction with residents and relatives
- Good German language skills, spoken and written
- Enjoyment of diverse challenges
