YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Exciting tasks await you:

Would you like to participate in a responsible team at the ELANTAS Institute and take on exciting tasks in the laboratory and workshop? Do you work precisely, independently, and bring passion for technical developments? Then you are exactly right with us!

• Planning, coordination, and execution of laboratory work in the field of test specimen production and application technology
• Preparation, processing, and testing of test samples (e.g., winding of test rods, coils, wire samples, assembly of formettes, impregnation, coatings, assembly and disassembly of slot models)
• Operation and monitoring of laboratory and workshop equipment (e.g., winding machines, VPI systems, workshop tools)
• Support of development and customer projects through tests, system and application tests
• Documentation and archiving of test results according to internal standards
• Ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and calibration of systems, tools, and laboratory devices
• Compliance with all safety regulations, especially when handling high voltage, mechanical tools, and chemicals
• Support of production areas through special quality tests and material releases

YOUR PROFILE

You convince us with this profile:

• Completed technical training (e.g., laboratory technician, mechanic, polymechanic or comparable)
• Initial experience in laboratory work or test specimen production is an advantage
• Mechanical knowledge as well as basic knowledge in handling chemicals desired
• Precise, responsible, and structured way of working
• Teamwork skills and high commitment
• Willingness to familiarize yourself with a complex subject area (training period at least 6 months)
