Plant and Equipment Builder – Welding Specialist
Activities
- Assistance in the preparation and creation of the complete welding documentation according to EN 15085/1090 with our responsible welding engineer and under his professional guidance
- Carrying out the necessary preliminary work for the project (documents, processes, technical documents)
- Close cooperation with project management, quality assurance, and production
- Coordination of the necessary information between internal and external parties
- Ensuring compliance with standards and professional support in the field of welding
- Organization and maintenance of all project-relevant documents
- Taking over welding supervision tasks in production as well as accompanying procedure tests and general production processes
- Mainly office and documentation work due to the project scope
Requirements
- Completed training as IWS (Welding Specialist) or IWT (Welding Technician);
- IWE (Welding Engineer) also possible
- Several years of experience in welding corrosion-resistant steels
- Sound knowledge of welding standards EN 15085/1090 (desirable)
- Experience in project collaboration is an advantage
