Job Summary:

Are you currently studying Food Science (or similar) and looking for an exciting insight into sales as a complement to your studies? For our local sales team in Zurich, we are looking for a Junior Technical Sales Support to assist our Sales Managers.

The DKSH Business Line Food & Beverage Ingredients is a leading distributor of food ingredients and supplies raw materials and ingredients for the beverage, dairy, confectionery, bakery, and dietary supplement industries.

Your tasks:

Participation in local quality assurance in the food sector

Review and approval of analysis certificates as well as clarification with the manufacturer in case of deviations

Obtaining all relevant quality documents and entering products into the system, as well as clarifications with the manufacturer in case of non-compliant or missing documents

Recording and maintenance of product specifications

Processing customer questionnaires and inquiries as well as notifying the customer about changes

Assistance in preparing various audits

Coordination of product sampling and analyses in accredited laboratories

Maintenance of customer complaint and problem logs as well as follow-up on issues

Support of our Sales Managers in administrative and operational sales tasks

Data management for our items

Maintenance of our digital product catalog and customer portal

Support in marketing campaigns and presentations

Organization of sample shipments

Data maintenance of customer and supplier contacts

Your profile:

You are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in food or agricultural sciences or have just completed it

Independent, efficient, and precise working style

Interest in food ingredients and quality-related topics

Fluent in German and English
