Key information about the position:

Reference: CLS/RH/2026.743 / Contract type: Permanent contract at 100% / Hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am at the earliest to 8:00 pm at the latest + on-call duty between 9 am and 8 pm one weekend per month on average / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")

Why do we need you?

Following the departure of one of our team members engaged in a training project, we wish to welcome a new recovery room nurse. Your presence will allow us to continue providing attentive and reassuring support to patients during this key phase of their journey, while strengthening the cohesion of a close-knit and caring team.

What will you be expected to do?

• Ensure post-operative monitoring of patients from various surgical specialties and the interventional sector (endoscopy, radiology), using your clinical skills and analytical ability
• Work closely with all healthcare professionals to ensure continuity, safety, and quality of care
• Provide individualized and high-quality care, respecting institutional protocols, hygiene, asepsis, and safety standards, while ensuring patient comfort
• Actively participate in the life of the department and contribute to the unit's development projects.

Who will you work with?

What do we expect from you?

Essentials:

• Hold a diploma in nursing HES or equivalent recognized by the Swiss Red Cross
• Have at least 5 years of professional experience
• Demonstrate experience in the recovery room or an acute care environment
• Strict mastery of safety, hygiene, and asepsis rules
• Ability to manage priorities autonomously, with composure and discernment
• Good interpersonal skills and a real ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
