We are looking for a student-focused Head of Registry and Admissions.
Based at Les Roches Crans-Montana, you will play a critical role in delivering a seamless and high-quality student journey, from application through to graduation. As part of a collaborative and international environment, you will lead the Registry and Admissions teams in managing student data, enrolment, and compliance processes, ensuring we meet the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Admissions Management:
- Lead and manage the admissions processes (in collaboration with the same team in other Les Roches campuses), and team, ensuring high-quality applicant evaluation and efficient onboarding of students.
- Develop and implement admission policies and procedures in line with institutional goals and regulatory frameworks.
- Monitor trends and generate data-driven reports to inform strategic planning.
Registry and Academic Records:
- Oversee course registration, grading, credit transfer, academic progression, and graduation eligibility.
- Ensure the secure and accurate maintenance of student records, in compliance with institutional policies and data protection regulations.
- Supervise the production of transcripts, diplomas, and official documents.
- Support faculty and students in navigating registry procedures and academic milestones.
Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with national and international accreditation bodies, quality assurance standards, and institutional audits.
- Maintain accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to policy reviews and updates in response to regulatory or institutional changes.
Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Registry and Admissions team, fostering a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Set team objectives, monitor performance, and identify training needs.
- Represent the department in institutional committees and working groups.
Requirements & Skills/Qualities:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Education, Higher Education Administration, or a related field strongly preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in registry, admissions, or academic administration, preferably within a higher education setting.
- Proven leadership experience and the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
- Strong knowledge of international accreditation processes and data protection regulations.
- Proficiency in academic software systems (e.g. Academia SIS) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluent in both English and French (written and spoken).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a sharp attention to detail.
- Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and a student-centric approach.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and drive cross-functional projects.
- Experience in multicultural, multilingual academic environments; knowledge of Swiss and EU education systems is a plus.
