Facilities Manager (m/f/d)
What to expect in this role
As a Facilities Manager (m/f/d), you are the central contact person on site and take on the responsible leadership of the entire facility management. In close and trusting cooperation with the Senior FM or Regional Manager, you contribute to providing high-quality facility management services. In doing so, you coordinate and manage requirements and ensure excellent service quality that delights our customers.
Your varied daily work
You are the friendly face of the FM function on site and the valued contact person for all customer-related questions
You develop and implement creative programs, processes, and procedures that, in close teamwork with the facility management team and our customers, enable both short- and long-term cost savings and increase productivity
You prepare customer-specific reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis with high quality and precision
You actively support the development and management of facility budgets in your area of responsibility, working hand in hand with customer representatives
You successfully manage the delivery of facility services (technical and infrastructural services) by internal or external teams
You ensure smooth daily operations and maintain open communication with all parties involved in the corporate tenant areas
You conduct regular performance reviews of your own and external teams through professional KPI management and governance
What you bring
At least 6 years of valuable industry experience in a corporate environment, with a third-party provider, or as a consultant
Strong organizational and management skills in matrix organizations as well as experience in leading technical and administrative teams
Excellent oral and written communication skills that you enjoy using
Strong presentation skills that inspire others
Confident knowledge of MS Office and MS SharePoint
Solid computer skills in CMMS/work order systems
Practical experience in critical environments/laboratory areas
Knowledge of the exciting life sciences industry, office and/or production facilities is desirable
