We are looking for CONTACT's point of contact in Biel for immediate start or by arrangement
Employee*in Team Care, 60%
CONTACT's point of contact in Biel supports individuals who consume illegal substances and are threatened by severe illness and/or social disintegration due to their substance dependence.
Your tasks are:
- Reception and distribution of consumables to the visitors of the facility
- Monitoring of consumption rooms
- Conducting conversations upon request and carrying out the necessary medical-social referrals
- Providing information and prevention messages regarding risks associated with communicable diseases and the consumption of psychotropic substances
- First aid services
- Carrying out resuscitation measures (AED-BLS) and alerting emergency services
- Representation in the CONTACT team and addiction treatment at the Tavannes location
- Collaboration in the interdisciplinary team
You bring / You are:
- Training as a nursing specialist HF or equivalent training
- Motivation to work in a harm reduction environment, and interest in topics such as drugs, poverty, social exclusion, and prostitution, sociability, teamwork ability
- German or French as a native language, fluent oral and basic written knowledge of the other language
- Experience in the professional field is desired.
