To strengthen our multipurpose plant operations at Arxada, Visp, Switzerland we are looking for an operator in chemical production.
Your tasks:
- Perform work safely and independently in compliance with safety regulations (SiVo),
- You monitor production, control and analyze process parameters, detect and resolve disturbances, and safely start up and shut down production equipment according to specifications
- You are responsible for independently executing and documenting workflows and rounds in the production plant according to the specification documents
- Working with the computer (Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP as well as process control systems) completes your range of activities
Your profile:
- High commitment to strengthening the safety culture
- You have completed training (EFZ) or an equivalent qualification and are motivated to work shifts (including night shifts and weekends; 4-shift model)
- Experience as an operator in chemical production or service companies and in handling process control systems is advantageous. Career changers from other fields are welcome
- You are interested and willing to learn new technologies and continuously further your education
- Very good German language skills are mandatory
