About the job
We are a modern, interdisciplinary hospital with high standards for medical quality, patient-centered care, and collegial cooperation. Our hospital ensures outpatient and inpatient healthcare for the canton of Uri with its comprehensive range of services.
Our oncology services include a wide range of drug-based tumor therapies, in close cooperation with the involved specialties and the central hospital.
To strengthen our oncology team, we are looking for a Senior Physician Medical Oncology to start immediately or by arrangement.
YOUR TASKS
- Independent care of patients with tumor diseases in outpatient and/or inpatient settings
- Planning and implementation of drug-based tumor therapies (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies)
- Participation in interdisciplinary tumor boards
- Opportunity to participate in the medical emergency service as well as co-care of medical patients on the ward
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- Specialist title in Medical Oncology FMH or recognized equivalent training (MEBEKO recognition required or in preparation)
- Solid clinical experience in drug-based tumor therapy
- Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration and modern oncology
- High social competence, empathy, and sense of responsibility
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
