Welcome to the Family Hub: Your meeting place for family & friends!
Are you looking for a warm place where you and your child are warmly welcomed, can make new friends, and have fun together? Then our Family Hub is just the right place for you! Here, parents and children from the region come together to exchange ideas, learn, and experience unforgettable moments.
Your child playfully discovers the world and makes first friendships while you become part of a lively, both local and international community. Whether for chatting over a coffee or for exciting activities - with us you will find connection and support!
Your benefits at a glance in the Family Hub (for families with children 0–5 years):
- Diverse activities for your child: It never gets boring with us! We offer varied movement, play, and singing activities in age-appropriate rooms, including a gym and playground.
- Weekly groups for every age: From baby to preschool child - our different groups offer just the right thing for every developmental stage.
- Learn English easily: English is the main language with us! This way, your child promotes language development and multilingualism in a playful and natural way from an early age.
- Programs for you as parents: Meet other families, exchange ideas, get tips and support, or simply relax with a cup of coffee. Here you can make contacts and become part of our community!
- Workshops & exciting community events: Be sure to check our calendar! We regularly offer new activities, informative workshops, and great community events.
- Easy & free participation: Just come by and feel welcome - no registration is necessary! You can easily find us via the main entrance or the side door next to the elevator. Parking spaces are available on site, and the bus stop to the center of Schaffhausen is just around the corner.

- Stay & Play: Children play, parents enjoy | Thursdays 08:30–10:30 am
- Coffee & Conversations: From parents to parents | Mondays 08:30–09:15 am
- International Playgroup: Friends from all over the world | Wednesdays 08:30–11:00 am
- Baby Club: First games & gentle impulses | Thursdays 08:30–10:00 am
- Library Club: Reading fun & fantasy journeys | Wednesdays 11:45 – 12:30 pm
- Stories & Sounds: Listen & marvel | Fridays 1:00–3:00 pm
Workshops & Community Events:
Look forward to seasonal highlights such as Easter egg painting or Christmas Advent wreath making. In addition, there are practical sessions, such as first aid courses specifically for families. Our diverse program really offers something for every family - whether to learn new skills, make new contacts, or simply enjoy quality time together.
