The Zug Cantonal Hospital is dedicated to the health of the population of the canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Around 1200 employees, including 180 in training and further education, work in various areas. Every year, we treat and care for over 11,500 inpatient and over 70,000 outpatient patients. More than 27,500 people are treated annually in the interdisciplinary emergency center.

For our coding, we are looking for a coder from November 1, 2025, or by arrangement.

Your Tasks

Coding of inpatient treatment cases from all specialties
Collaboration in cross-departmental tasks (rejection management, optimization of medical documentation, DRG training)
If interested and suitable, coding of inpatient cases according to ST Reha for our cooperation partner

Your Profile

Basic medical training (e.g., Diploma in Nursing HF/FH)
Professional experience in medical coding in an acute hospital
Federal specialist certificate in medical coding or willingness to obtain it
Independent, structured, and efficient way of working
High quality and sense of responsibility
