Career in tax law? Start with us! The tax administration, with over 180 employees, is responsible for the correct enforcement of the tax laws of the canton of Thurgau – and offers you the ideal entry.

To strengthen our motivated team, we are looking for a

You will be intensively trained "on the job" in Frauenfeld with full pay during the first months and specifically prepared for the new task. Afterwards, you will be independently active as a field staff member in the municipalities assigned to you, which are allocated based on your place of residence, and carry out your tasks there.

• You check the tax returns of employees, assess the tax law facts, and prepare the corresponding decisions.
• You independently conduct objection negotiations with customers and make the corresponding decisions.
• You are responsible for the consultation in any procedure before the tax appeals commission.
• You are responsible for carrying out additional tax procedures.
• You impose fines for violations of procedural obligations.
• You provide oral and written tax law information.

You have a commercial or equivalent education. Professional experience in tax law is an advantage but not necessary. Much more important to us is that your strengths lie in speaking and writing so that you can demonstrate your communication and negotiation skills in conversations with your customers.

Additionally, you are a motivated team player who can integrate very well in the various municipalities. You have a quick grasp, are decisive, and have a very reliable working style even under pressure. You are willing to work at least 80% during the training phase.
