To support our exceptional teams who develop great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a Simulation Engineer (a) for our location in Hägglingen / AG.

Simulation Engineer 100% (a)

These tasks await you:

• Assessment of production, process and quality data to identify optimisation and improvement potential
• Responsibility and technical leadership for the development and application of statistical methods and Design of Experiments (DOE) for process development and process optimisation
• Data-based determination and optimisation of process windows as well as development of solutions for process optimisation, quality control and fault detection
• Support of engineering and production in complex fault and root cause analyses
• Development and implementation of machine learning and AI applications for industrial processes as well as development of internal software, analysis and automation tools and analysis and visualisation of production data
• Application and further development of image processing and vision solutions for inspection and quality processes
• Development of solutions for the intelligent use of existing machine, process and quality data
• Management and implementation of digitalisation and smart manufacturing projects as well as introduction of new technologies
• Further development of digital production and engineering methods in close cooperation with process engineering, quality, operations, automation and IT

Qualifications you should bring:

• Technical education at HF/FH/university level, for example in mechanical engineering, plastics technology, production technology, automation, industrial engineering, data science or comparable
• Experience in an industrial production or engineering environment as well as in dealing with industrial image processing systems
• Knowledge of statistical data analysis and ideally experience with DOE
• High analytical thinking ability and a structured approach to complex problems
• Independent working style as well as interest in developing and introducing new solutions
• Good communication and teamwork skills in an interdisciplinary environment
• Very good German skills and good English skills
• Open mindset as well as joy and curiosity to learn new things and develop professionally

What you ideally additionally bring:

• Experience in a regulated production environment, ideally in MedTech
• Knowledge of statistical tools such as Minitab, JMP or comparable applications
• Knowledge of Python, SQL or comparable analysis and programming tools
• Knowledge of data visualisation, for example with Power BI
• Knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence or computer vision
• Experience with MES, machine or production data systems
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
