Deputy Team Leader Logistics with Focus on Product Logistics 100% (m/f/d) Mission:
In this position, you will act as deputy to the team leader and be significantly involved in controlling and optimizing logistics processes. You ensure that goods preparation and order picking are carried out efficiently and on time, while implementing the highest quality standards in hygiene and safety. Together with your team, you continuously work on improving workflows, support the professional and personal development of your employees, and thus actively contribute to the success and growth of the company. Your tasks include coordinating and monitoring all logistical activities, warehouse management, as well as labeling and packaging of food products. You ensure that all work is carried out according to HACCP and FSSC guidelines and that the company remains capable of delivery at all times. Your area of responsibility:
- Deputizing for the team leader and taking on leadership responsibilities during their absence
- Participation in daily operations in the areas of order picking, labeling, and packaging
- Order picking of various food products at 2 - 8°C
- Monitoring the preparation area, order picking zones including price labeling and packaging
- Processing and printing labels, as well as operating labeling machines
- Warehouse management and administration, conducting inventories
- Ensuring delivery readiness in the respective department
- Coordination of workflows
- Warehouse monitoring and disposition of packaging materials
- Operation and management of the automatic high-bay warehouse
- Training and promotion of subordinate employees
- Performing cleaning tasks according to quality standards
- Compliance with quality and hygiene guidelines according to company specifications (HACCP/FSSC)
- Completed training as a logistician, preferably in the food industry
- Further training in logistics is an advantage
- Experience in employee leadership is an advantage
- License for operating industrial trucks is mandatory
- Physically fit and resilient
- Knowledge of warehouse management software and warehouse administration
- Independent, precise, and careful working style, quality- and responsibility-conscious
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form
- Good PC skills, especially in MS Office and ERP systems
- Quick comprehension skills
- Attitude characterized by flexibility, teamwork, honesty, directness, reliability,
- Goal-oriented and communicative with high customer and employee awareness
- Willingness to share knowledge and a cross-process way of thinking
- Working hours: Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 19:00, partly Saturday morning - depending on operational requirements
