The opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Communication Manager in Part Time to join our Product Management and Marketing Team GCB/GIS Service in Switzerland.
In this role you’ll be responsible for planning, creating, and executing impactful marketing communication initiatives that strengthen Hitachi’s brand presence and support business growth. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution across multiple channels and formats.
How you’ll make an impact
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing communication plans aligned with Hitachi’s global strategy and local business objectives.
- Manage the creation and distribution of marketing collateral, including: Marketing brochures, PowerPoint presentation improvements, Product marketing videos and Digital marketing content.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and adherence to corporate identity guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with product management, sales, and technical teams to ensure integrated campaign execution and message alignment.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing communication initiatives, providing regular reports and actionable recommendations for optimization.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging communication technologies to identify new opportunities for Hitachi.
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing communications, preferably within a large, global technology or industrial company (B2B experience highly desirable) and a proven track record in developing and executing integrated marketing communication strategies across multiple channels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in content creation and editing.
- Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., marketing automation, CRM, social media management, content management systems).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Results-oriented with strong analytical skills and experience in measuring campaign performance.
- Fluency in English is required.
