The Secondary School and Vocational Education Office of the Canton of Zurich is the competence and service center for vocational education, high schools, higher vocational education, and continuing education in the Canton of Zurich. In the development area, we are looking for a commissioner for integration pre-apprenticeship (50%) as a maternity cover for a fixed-term position starting April 1, 2026 (or by arrangement) until January 31, 2027.

Your area of responsibility
The integration pre-apprenticeship (INVOL) has been specifically and practically preparing refugees and late immigrants for vocational training since 2018. As a commissioner for INVOL, you are responsible for the operational management of the educational offer with interfaces to training companies, schools, ÜK centers, and administration. You inform and advise training managers of companies as well as various other stakeholders and conduct information events. You maintain and update processes and tools related to the educational offer and, together with the vocational schools, ensure the annual class planning. In addition, you take over contract management. In your diverse area of responsibility, you work closely with the project management of the integration pre-apprenticeship.
Your profile
We are looking for an initiative, service-oriented, and structured personality with completed vocational training and at least five years of commercial professional experience. You bring practical experience in the field of vocational education and/or migration and education and enjoy acquiring knowledge quickly and working independently and responsibly. Even in hectic phases, you keep an overview and skillfully set priorities. You think in a networked way, proactively approach issues, and are characterized by an integrating personality with a positive attitude and open communication.
