For the Licensing & Supervision Department at the Office of Health, we are looking for a Specialist in Licensing with Team Leadership, 80-100%, to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks
As a specialist, you will process comprehensive and complex licensing and approval applications from various healthcare institutions such as nursing homes, hospitals, or medical practices. In addition, you assist with the supervision of healthcare professionals and healthcare institutions by, among other things, accompanying on-site inspections. You will work closely with the Legal Department and the Cantonal Medical Service.
Furthermore, you will lead 6-8 employees both professionally and personally. The team consists of specialists for operational and professional practice licenses. You will work closely with the team leader of the second specialist team as well as the head of Projects & Quality.
Your profile
We are looking for an initiative and performance-oriented individual who has several years of professional experience in the Swiss healthcare system and is eager to lead a team. You have a strong understanding of the Swiss healthcare system and its education system and hold a tertiary-level degree (A or B). Ideally, you also bring commercial professional experience as well as leadership experience. Your strengths include a confident demeanor and skill in oral and written communication. You have a quick grasp, think in networks, and can approach complex issues in a structured, solution-oriented, and goal-directed manner. You are described as analytical, goal-oriented, efficient, and structured in your work. You are trustworthy and ready to deliver above-average performance for our clients together with your team.
