The Rüegsau schools include the two school locations Rüegsauschachen and Rüegsbach. In Rüegsauschachen, nine primary classes, two special education classes, three kindergartens, and nine classes at the lower secondary level are taught. In Rüegsbach, two primary classes and one kindergarten are taught. The advertised position concerns the Rüegsbach school location.

Tasks
Until the summer holidays, you will teach 1 lesson of French 5th/6th grade and 2 lessons of sports on Tuesday afternoons. On Thursday morning, you will teach 2 lessons of French in the 5th and 6th grades, and in the afternoon 2 lessons of visual arts for grades 4-6.
The maternity leave continues after the summer holidays with a workload of 9 lessons. In addition to the existing lessons, 2 lessons of sports for grades 1-3 will be added. The teaching half-days are Monday morning, Monday afternoon, and Friday morning.
It is possible to apply only for the workload before or after the summer holidays.
Requirements
Ideally, you have a bachelor's degree for primary education or a seminar-based primary teaching certificate.

Fixed-term employment (maternity leave substitute) until July 4, 2026 (entire maternity leave until December 26, 2026)
Good ICT infrastructure. You will be provided with a personal teacher device (laptop) including an Office365 school account
