- Maintenance and project work on the track and on structures (focus on the Visp to Zermatt route)
- Specialist for maintenance of switches and rack railway entries
- Assistance with environmental maintenance (e.g. slope care, snow removal)
- Deployments as transport escort and safety guard/leader (construction site security)
- Willingness for special deployments, night and Sunday work
- Troubleshooting on the assigned route (on-call service)
Your Profile
- Craft or technical vocational training. Professional experience in the metal processing industry or construction industry or affinity for mechanics
- Experience in railway technology or willingness to further train in railway-specific topics
- Enjoy working outdoors at any time of day or night (approx. 20% night shifts) and on some weekends
- High teamwork skills, reliability and flexibility
- Driver's license category B
- Computer user skills (MS Office)
