About the job
We at the Regional Investigation are on duty day and night as a central investigative unit and conduct comprehensive investigations on behalf of the public prosecutor's office. We carry out extensive interviews, house searches, and various surveillance measures. In doing so, we maintain close communication with our colleagues in the police service as well as with the public prosecutor's office to efficiently clarify cases and drive investigations forward in a targeted manner.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for reliable and committed colleagues who want to professionally support our investigative work.
Your tasks
- Investigative work and interrogations: Responding to crime and event scenes, assessing the situation, initiating immediate measures, as well as leading or supporting judicial police operations. Interviewing victims, suspects, and informants, as well as preparing well-founded investigation reports and charges
- Evidence preservation and investigation: Securing and evaluating evidence, conducting observations/surveillance, identity checks, and investigation activities
- Coordination and supervision: Planning and leading police actions, participating in investigation teams, and carrying out surveillance measures
- Collaboration and support: Processing mutual legal assistance requests, supporting the criminal department in special situations, maintaining confidential sources, and contributing to internal training and further education
Your profile
- Completed police training (police officer with federal specialist certificate or SPI certificate) and impeccable reputation
- Several years of professional experience in police service, ideally with assignments in the investigative field
- High social, communication, and conflict resolution skills as well as a confident, professional appearance
- Team-oriented, resilient, and able to maintain an overview even in hectic situations
- Flexibility and willingness to work irregular shifts as well as a category B driver's license
- Fluent German with good French skills (at least level A1)
