EMIR Nurse M/F at 70%-80%
The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 collaborators. The Rennaz Hospital Center has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. All collaborators are committed daily to providing quality care to patients, embodying the institution's values: authenticity, exemplarity, and innovation.
The Mobile Rapid Somatic Intervention Team's mission is to manage non-life-threatening emergency situations within 2 hours, at the patient's place of residence, at the request of health and social professionals, with the aim of promoting home care. It is available 24/7 for people over 16 years old.
The main tasks of this position are
- Comprehensive assessment and clinical examination
- Technical and relational nursing care
- Home monitoring and follow-up
- Guidance and coordination
- Intervention in pairs with EMIR Psy
We require
- At least 5 years of professional experience in acute care, especially in medicine, emergency, and/or intermediate care
- Skills in clinical examination, notably abdominal, cardio-pulmonary, neurological, and integumentary
- Good ability to analyze situations and make autonomous decisions
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage unforeseen events and stress, autonomy at work
- Good interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in an interprofessional environment
- Experience and interest in geriatrics would be an asset
- Knowledge in palliative care and end-of-life support
- Driving license required
- Proficiency in common computer tools (Microsoft Office)
- Good knowledge of the EMIR team's intervention area
