Description
We are looking for our engineering office in Le Mont-sur-Lausanne, Chemin de Maillefer 36, for a:
Project Manager / Fire Protection Specialist
Your profile:
- Holder of at least a federal certificate as a fire protection specialist AEAI
- You have successful experience in the field of fire protection on various assignment projects
- Coming from a construction background (architect, engineer, ...), you have experience in a building, construction, and site-related field. You are autonomous and dynamic, able to make decisions and comfortable in human relations, both with clients and authorities as well as internally by promoting teamwork. You set an example in the execution of your tasks
- You have recognized interpersonal skills and know how to develop a professional network
- You know how to adapt to different situations and different interlocutors
Your role:
- Manage the progress of a safety engineer mandate, from study to commissioning under the best conditions of costs, deadlines, and quality
- Lead work sessions with the client(s), fire protection authorities, architects, and other contractors
- Establish the general schedule of projects under your responsibility, from the perspective of fire protection and associated missions
- Be responsible for defining the safety principles of the building projects entrusted to you
- Write reports and safety notes and ensure their proper execution on site
- Assume responsibility for the projects (AQ1-2) entrusted to you
- Support the client and the project management during the reception phases
- Prospect, develop, and acquire new clients and mandates
- Prepare offers / service proposals respecting the office's standards and rules. Create new bases if necessary / Prepare invoices for services performed under your responsibility with the support of management
- Participate in the office life by presenting, during internal meetings, executed projects and innovative techniques applied to fire protection
- Ensure respect for deadlines, costs, and quality for each executed project
- You are mobile to follow our projects in French-speaking Switzerland
