The EOC, the multi-site hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory with a total of 1,000 beds. The Cantonal Institute of Pathology (ICP) located in Locarno provides anatomical pathology services for the entire Cantonal Hospital Entity as well as private clinics and medical practices. More than 70,000 analyses concerning about 50,000 patients residing in the cantonal territory are performed each year. The expertise covers all fields of pathology and cytology with the possibility to use a modern molecular pathology service and digital pathology support. The ICP is an institute oriented towards university teaching and the promotion of biomedical research.

Necessary requirements
- Diploma of biomedical analysis technician dipl. SSS or equivalent recognized by the Swiss Red Cross;
- Manual skills and aptitude for technical work;
- Reliability and responsibility in carrying out activities;
- Ability to independently manage their work and initiative spirit;
- Relational, communication skills and willingness to work in a multidisciplinary team;
- Orientation to change, development, and flexibility;
- Knowledge of main computer applications (Word and Excel);
- Knowledge of a second national language is desirable;
- Willingness to mobility within EOC laboratories.
