Hypothekarbank Lenzburg (HBL) is an innovative and agile financial service provider with a strong affinity for digitalization and the open banking culture.

The Compliance department is part of the Legal, Regulatory & Compliance division and thus the specialist office for VSB issues, anti-money laundering, sanctions handling, as well as other regulatory topics.

To strengthen our department, we are looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to start immediately or by arrangement. We are addressing an honest, communicative, and trustworthy personality who is happy to competently commit to our bank.

Your tasks

• Implementation and monitoring of regulatory requirements within the bank, especially in the areas of anti-money laundering, VSB, and sanctions
• Handling inquiries in the aforementioned topics
• Preparation of risk assessments for business relationships with increased risks (GmeR)
• Drafting of AML suspicious activity reports and submission to the MROS
• Participation in IKS controls
• Analyses related to transactions with increased risks (TmeR)
• Training of employees and participation in projects 

What you bring

• Completed university or university of applied sciences degree (Bachelor or Master in law, business law, economics) or higher professional education
• Several years of professional experience as a Compliance Officer or in consulting in the field of anti-money laundering
• Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements in the area of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML Act, FINMA AML Ordinance, VSB)
• Ideally knowledge in the area of consolidated supervision or group supervision
• High initiative, sense of responsibility, and willingness to perform
• Precise working style, analytical and networked thinking
• Very good German skills; English and/or French are an advantage
