Low Construction Office | 80–100 % | Chur

The Low Construction Office is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance, and management of cantonal roads as well as for the correction of watercourses and non-motorized traffic in Graubünden. Furthermore, we take care of the functional maintenance of national roads within the cantonal territory. The infrastructure of the cantonal roads includes over 1450 artificial structures, including bridges of considerable height up to 90 meters and tunnels up to 3 kilometers long. The natural challenges that arise in summer and winter in our mountain canton make our work demanding and multifaceted. For June 1, 2026 or by agreement, we are looking for a road worker for the Road Maintenance division in district 7 Chur

Your field of responsibilities

Cleaning tunnels of cantonal and national roads throughout the canton
Performing road maintenance work in a small maintenance team
Taking on summer and winter services
Performing clearing and repair work after accidents or natural events
Checking the condition of roads and road equipment
Performing night work (approx. 8 months per year) as well as winter on-call service (approx. 4 months per year)
