Class teacher 3rd Secondary at Lower Secondary Level I, approx. 83% workload (Gega Sec)

for the new school year starting August 1, 2026.

We are looking for you!

We are a small, fine secondary school (Level A) in the heart of the city of Schaffhausen.

We have 6 classes, always two in each grade, so that (almost) all lessons can be taught in parallel.

We are looking for a committed, motivated, and collaboration-interested teacher who would fit into our small team.

• Completed teaching diploma for Lower Secondary Level I
• Enjoyment in working with our young people
• Communicative and motivated personality
• Willingness to actively help shape the school

You are a lively, talented teacher who is also interested in school development and team-building processes beyond teaching activities. With your commitment, you significantly contribute to shaping the future of our schoolchildren.

You would teach two 2nd Secondary classes together with a colleague as a class teacher.

The 83% position consists of the following lessons

• 8 lessons German

(4 + 4 lessons in parallel classes)

• 6 lessons English

(3 + 3 lessons in parallel classes)

• 4 lessons History

(2 + 2 lessons in parallel classes)

• 2 lessons ERG

in your own class

• 1 lesson BO/FÖ

in your own class

• 1 lesson homework help
• (each 30 minutes during two lunch breaks, 13:10 to 13:40)
• Additionally, the paid team hour and two lessons of class teacher relief
• This totals 25 lessons.
