Job description

To contribute to the growth and long-term profitability of the IKEA store through systems and methods for lowering costs, increasing the quality perception, handling quality matters and maximizing profit.

- Driving co-operation across functions and focusing on damages, sales errors and quality problems, thereby preventing costs to occur in the first place.

- Utilizing the right methods for optimizing the revenue from IKEA products that would otherwise not be possible to sell.

- Contribute to the IKEA sustainability goals by giving products a second chance, or through sustainable divestment of products where this is not possible.

 

 

 


Qualification

Extensive knowledge of using IT systems and other tools in daily work duties.

Good knowledge of functions within the IKEA store and how they contribute to the recovery and quality process.

Good knowledge of the IKEA product range. Extensive knowledge of the store's recovery process. Good understanding of merchandising techniques and

how to create a commercially attractive As-Is area.

The main responsibilities are: exceeding customer expectations by ensuring a seamless and easy buying process that creates trust in the IKEA brand in a multichannel environment; managing and supporting the team in order to co-ordinate and optimise goods flow operations in the store. This will result in agreed product availability for customers and the correct quality of the goods flow process in the store at the lowest possible costs.
