Field Service Technician Switzerland Area

Your tasks

The service technician is the central figurehead, the business card, representing Belimed Life Science on site with the customer in all technical matters. This begins with the installation and commissioning of the systems on site at the customer, accompanying the systems throughout the entire service cycle, and beyond that with modernizations and upgrades to extend the lifecycle of the Life Science systems. Good, confident appearance, high technical competence, and experience are the skills that stand for the good reputation in the Life Science systems market. The service technician thus makes a decisive contribution to the company's success. The service technician should live in the area from Zurich West to Lucerne / Olten.

The following main tasks are included:

Independent execution of maintenance work, repairs, commissioning, retrofits, and customer training of Belimed Life Science systems

Comprehensive support of existing customers with corresponding service deployments, as well as analysis, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of faults

Expansion of service offerings including spare parts business in the support area

Consulting customers on technical and technological questions

Ensuring smooth processes and high customer satisfaction

Providing feedback from on-site observed market conditions, business opportunities, and competition

Documentation of deployments using service reports

Compliance with safety regulations at the customer

Your profile

Mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical assembly, commissioning, and testing of systems

Several years of experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, assembly, commissioning, or qualification in plant engineering

Good knowledge of GMP guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage

Reading and understanding technical drawings & electrical schematics

Precise and independent working

Organizational skills

Good Microsoft and PLC knowledge in software and hardware

Confident German in spoken and written form, additional foreign languages are an advantage

Customer-oriented and competent, representative appearance

Resilience and high problem-solving skills

Team player, assertive, service-oriented, and communicative doer

Used to working independently

Open and good interaction with customers

Willingness to travel 80% - 100% with overnight stays

Driver's license class B
