What You'll Do:
- Keep SkyCell’s global IoT network running flawlessly by maintaining and supporting field-deployed loggers
- Own the lifecycle of IoT devices through hands-on management of returns, refurbishment, and precision calibration
- Be the problem solver of last resort by delivering 2nd-level support and conducting deep root cause analysis for complex IoT challenges
- Empower front-line teams by training 1st-level support and building clear, practical knowledge resources
- Drive smooth global rollouts by coordinating installations of IoT loggers and gateways
- Turn data into action by monitoring real-world device performance and uncovering insights for improvement
- Shape the future of IoT hardware & firmware through field and acceptance testing in real-world conditions
- Connect the dots across the organization by acting as the key interface between Operations, R&D, Product Lifecycle, and Quality Management to fuel continuous improvement
- Innovate at the edge by contributing to early-stage proof-of-concept projects
What You'll Bring:
- Technical education background with strong IT affinity and interest in IoT technologies
- Understanding of wireless communication (LoRaWAN, cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth)
- Hands-on experience in technical customer support, field installation, or hardware testing
- Ability to analyse data and translate findings into operational improvements
- Proficiency in scripting (preferably in Python) is a strong plus
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Fluency in English (spoken & written); German is a plus
- Willingness to travel on a regular basis for installations or onsite support / troubleshooting
- Regular onsite work in Zürich office required
