The opportunity
The EY Business Consulting team offers a broad range of functional and cross-country services dedicated to providing trusted advice to clients in the Financial Services industry across Wealth & Asset Management (WAM), Banking and Capital Markets (BCM) and Insurance sectors. The Financial Services industry is experiencing tremendous change in its technology landscape. This is an exciting time to join an evolving team and help our clients navigate the changing market and add value to their clients. As a Consultant in our Transformation Execution Practice, you will pursue exciting transformation in WAM, BCM and insurance initiatives related to technology and design, plan, and deliver technology-enabled solutions for our clients.
Your Key Responsibilities

Pursuing exciting business-led, tech-enabled transformation initiatives across the Financial Services sector

Taking responsibility and leading the delivery of project streams and internal initiatives
-
Collaborating with key stakeholders, business partners, and multi-disciplinary teams to help shaping ideas and designing solutions which leverage technology as a competitive advantage

Applying storytelling skills and presenting recommendations to our clients in a clear and analytical manner

Leveraging and further developing our global EY methodologies, frameworks, tools, accelerators, and enablers for a range of transformation goals

Preparing and driving internal- and external topic roundtables and thought leadership sessions related to business-led, technology-enabled transformation

Co-hosting events & preparing targeted client communications

Helping to drive go-to-market and business development initiatives to continuously provide valuable solutions for our clients in a technology-enabled space
Skills And Attributes For Success

You have fresh ideas, an innovative mind and have a strong desire to structure and solve problems

Good understanding about the financial services industry and the private banking business
-
Have an affinity for technology, data and AI related topics
-
Hands-on experience in consulting, business transformation or technology related projects (e.g. AI, technology transformation projects, analytics & tools, collaboration with IT teams) is preferred for this position, ranging from first experiences to 2-3 years of experience depending on the level.

Excellent academic record from a leading university or university of applied sciences

Strong motivation to join a dynamic consulting environment and to work in the financial services sector

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and partners from a variety of business functions

Strong analytical, problem-solving, business acumen and stakeholder management skills

Strong team player with a client-oriented attitude, willing to proactively drive solutions within highly motivated and diverse teams across functions and geographies

Fluency in English and French is mandatory
Ideally you will also have:

Project management experience in business or technology transformation projects, including the ability to recognize and track dependencies among projects and/or streams

Business analysis and requirements engineering

Experience with Agile and Design Thinking methodologies

Experience in large transformation programs including multiple stakeholders
-
Experience and/or interest in leading a small team as part of a project stream
