Orthopedic Surgery Nurse at 80% on Fixed-Term Contract

Reference: CLS/RH/2025.703 / Contract type: Fixed-Term Contract at 80% / Hours: 12-hour shifts / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")
Why do we need you?
Due to a maternity leave in the team, we are looking for someone to join the team and available until April 2026.
What will you be expected to do?
- Work collaboratively to ensure individualized care and optimal follow-up of patients mainly in orthopedic surgery
- Apply your technical and specific nursing skills
- Strictly apply hygiene and asepsis rules
- Participate in the therapeutic education of the patient
Who will you work with?
The unit brings together 17 caregivers in a supportive work environment. Nurses, ASSC, nursing assistants, a head nurse and an assistant head nurse make up this dynamic team. Our motto is mutual support. That is why, as a team, we chose to work in pairs since 2019.Audrey Martins has a strong background at La Source. Having obtained her diploma at the La Source Institute and University of Health Sciences, she has progressed at the Clinic over the years to become head nurse for two care units. Attentive, empathetic, and available, she does her best to take care of her team and meet the needs of the unit's collaborators.Essentials:
- Hold a HES nursing diploma or an equivalent title recognized by the Red Cross
- Have initial professional experience in a hospital setting
- Demonstrate versatility, organization, and flexibility
- Be able to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Have a sense of responsibility and be capable of working autonomously

- Have initial professional experience in orthopedic surgery
