Nursing Expert APN Geriatrics

• Professional leadership and support of acute geriatric patients as well as their relatives in the sense of a family-centered approach.
• Bringing in your advanced clinical competencies as an APN in direct care on the ward as well as in a consultative function.
• Making evidence-based knowledge accessible to employees through standards, training, and coaching and supporting their application in practice.
• Active shaping of processes, participation in specialist and project groups, and co-responsibility for the further development of nursing quality.
• Initiating and leading interprofessional case discussions.

Become part of the Department of Internal Medicine with training status A, which, with over 2,500 inpatient patients, over 6,000 emergencies, and more than 450 patients cared for annually in the interdisciplinary intensive care unit, is a central and important service center of the hospital. Our interdisciplinary wards with the specialist focuses of acute geriatrics, internal medicine, and surgery are managed in a primary nursing system.

This is how you convince us:

• Completed training as a certified nurse (HF/FH/DNII)
• Completed Master’s degree in Nursing Science (MScN)
• Several years of professional experience in direct care, ideally in internal medicine and/or acute geriatrics
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and enjoyment of interprofessional collaboration and networking.
