Senior Network Engineer Customer Networks 80–100 %

We are looking to strengthen our team with a Senior Network Engineer Customer Networks for the location Zurich Airport or St. Gallen. In this role, you will work on customer projects from small to large, take responsibility for the operation of customer networks, and actively contribute your expertise to further developments. • Co-responsibility for planning, design, further development, and operation of Abraxas customer networks
• Development and implementation of network and security concepts
• Implementation and technical execution of customer projects of varying size and complexity
• Development of customer-specific solutions and coordination of designs with existing architectures
• Participation in the definition and implementation of network standards and best practices
• Support in presales (technical assistance with offers and tenders)
• Locating and resolving network faults as 3rd-level support
• Performing operational tasks
• Taking on on-call duty and maintenance windows

• Completed studies (HF/FH) or comparable education in computer science or telematics
• Several years of experience in the design, construction, and operation of customer networks
• Very good knowledge of OSI layers 1–4, routing, switching, firewalls, security, and network management
• Knowledge of network architecture, automation, and SDN is an advantage
• High degree of independence, initiative, and sense of responsibility
• Product knowledge in Huawei and Fortinet is an advantage
• Language levels: German B2–C1, English is an advantage
