Ensuring electricity in Switzerland

In this exciting position, you support the Technical Asset Management team and the Asset Performance Management project by analyzing asset data, conducting quality checks, and developing as well as implementing innovative approaches to continuously improve the data basis. This actively improves the asset performance of our high-voltage systems. You will particularly take on the following tasks

• Analysis and preparation of asset data
• Conducting data quality checks and plausibility analyses
• Evaluation of measurement protocols and digitization of the results
• Support in integrating asset data into existing systems
• Development of innovative solutions for data maintenance
• Assistance in capturing, updating, checking, and keeping data consistent

For this position, we are looking for you as a team player with a reliable, structured, and quality-conscious working style and a pronounced understanding of data structures, analytical thinking, as well as high accuracy and enjoyment in capturing and checking information. You also bring the following:

• Enrolled student at a university / college in the fields of natural sciences, engineering, data science, computer science, or comparable courses of study (electrical engineering / energy technology is an advantage but not a requirement)
• Basic knowledge in data management and quality assurance
• Familiarity with Excel and databases (e.g., SQL)
• Knowledge of Python, FME, and machine learning is an advantage
• Goal-oriented, precise, and structured working style
• Very good German or English skills

About us

The Technical Asset Management team is responsible for the technical management of all network equipment throughout their entire lifecycle. It defines standards, guidelines, and specifications, monitors the condition of the assets, analyzes faults, and derives risk-oriented measures. It also advises projects as asset owner and provides expertise for equipment such as switchgear, transformers, lines, and protection systems to ensure supply security and quality.
